This research aims to investigate the effect of listening exercises using TED Talks on the speaking skills of 11th-grade students at SMAN 1 Panji. In the current era of technological advancement, digital media such as TED Talks provide an engaging and accessible resource for language learning, particularly in improving speaking proficiency. This study employed a quasi-experimental research design involving two classes: the experimental group received treatment using TED Talks, while the control group did not. Both groups were subjected to pre-tests and post-tests to assess their speaking skills. Data were collected through speaking tests and analyzed using SPSS 27, applying descriptive statistics, normality and homogeneity tests, as well as the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results revealed a significant improvement in the experimental group's speaking performance, indicating that listening to TED Talks effectively enhances learners' vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency, and overall speaking skills. The findings suggest that TED Talks can serve as a beneficial supplementary media for English language learning, offering authentic listening content that supports speaking development.
