Abstract

The use of scientific information, tools, and methods for practical purposes is called technology. It includes creating systems, products, and procedures to improve efficiency and convenience in various industries, including education and training, particularly in the Department of English at Muhammadiyah University of Mataram. This research aims to analyze students' learning progress by integrating technology into the classroom. Using qualitative observation methods, the researchers gathered insights from 29 English-speaking students using Google Forms. Evaluating technology in education is crucial for improving learning objectives and teaching methods. The results showed that 82% of students found Google Forms user-friendly and effective for the midterm exam. Positive feedback indicated that the forms worked well, enhancing the learning process and teaching techniques. Technology assessment helps identify areas for improvement, driving innovation and progress in pedagogy. By continually evaluating and integrating digital tools, teachers can customize methodologies, create engaging learning environments, and support student growth. Educators must adopt ongoing assessment procedures to maximize technology use in training and teaching as technology advances.
