The Development of Poetry in the Technology Era as a Media in Teaching English

Poetry is a literary form that employs figurative language and have deeply meaning. The reader may become engrossed in the poet's emotions due to the author's choice of words and messages, it has evolved with time, and one factor that has an impact on its evolution is the speed at which technology is developing at a faster pace thanks to technology. Poets use Wattpad, platforms, personal blogs, and other apps to swiftly share their work, making it easier for readers to access their favorite poems across a variety of media. The purpose employs is to ascertain how technology has impacted the evolution of poetry from because of the rapid evolution of human mind patterns. In this study used a qualitative descriptive method. This approach entails tracking the traits, patterns, and evolution of poetry across time in order to shed light on the ways in which technology has impacted poetic expression. As a result, digital poetry has become more popular. It frequently combines multimedia components including audio, video, and graphics. Technology has also had an impact on the structure and subject matter of poetry. Poetry's topics and themes have also changed to reflect how technology has affected. The conclusion of this study that advances in technology have occasionally had a significant impact on poetry's evolution. Poetry can be more easily accessed or downloaded on different social media platforms by readers or literature aficionados thanks to poets' ability to distribute their work globally.
