Community Participation in Sustainable Tourism Management at Cemara Beach, Mojomulyo Village, Jember Regency

This study wants to know the extent of community participation and the role of government in community-based and sustainable tourism management in Cemara Beach, Jember Regency. This study uses qualitative research methods, with in-depth interviews with several key informants. The findings in this study include: First, the forerunner of the formation of Cemara Beach by people who care about the environment. Second, tourism as an alternative source of income for local communities. Third, the lack of local government support in coastal management. In short, the need for multi-stakeholder collaboration in managing sustainable tourism so that it has an economic impact on society and the environment is maintained
