The research method used is the hayami method to calculate added value. The basis for the initial calculation is the variable value for measuring added value for one production process such as output, input, labor, wages, average labor, raw material prices, and costs other than raw materials. The average revenue from products produced by the pindang fish agroindustry in Muncar District is IDR. 13,500/fish with an added value of Rp. 2,726/fish. The resulting value added ratio is 20.19. Production risks can occur if they are not anticipated. The aim of this research is to analyze operational risks arising from processed coffee production activities at Perumda Perkebunan Kahyangan Jember and develop efforts to overcome them. This phenomenon gave rise to the idea for farmer groups or cooperatives in Sidomulyo Village, Silo District, Jember Regency to produce coffee with the distinctive taste of Ketakasi coffee packaged in various designs. The research objectives are (1) Identifying consumer perceptions of the taste of Ketakasi coffee (2) Identifying consumer perceptions of the price of Ketakasi coffee (3) Identifying consumer perceptions of Ketakasi coffee packaging design (4) Analyzing the relationship between taste, price and packaging design with purchase intention Ketakasi coffee consumers. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method which was carried out purposively on consumers of Kertakasi robusta coffee. The research sample consisted of 33 consumers based on Taro Yamane's formula calculations. The research results show (1) Ketakasi robusta coffee has a strong aroma, strong aftertaste, and delicious taste (2) The price of canned Ketakasi coffee is affordable, the price is in line with product quality and competitive with similar products (3) Robusta coffee packaging design. At this time the harvesting process which usually uses traditional rice harvesting tools is now switching to the use of modern combine harvester machines. This study aims to determine and analyse the response of farmers to the use of combine harvester and to determine the impact of the use of combine harvester on rice farming in Lojejer Village, Wuluhan District, Jember Regency. The study population was 120 farmers and became 32 samples using the slovin formula with a random sample method obtained from 16 farmers using combine harvester and 16 non-users of combine harvester. Data analysis method using likert scale method. The average break-even unit (BEP) of the shrimp paste fishing industry in Puger Kulon and Wetan villages in Puger District, Jember Regency is 219 Kg. The average break-even point (BEP) and the average break-even point (BEP) of acceptance of the shrimp paste fishing industry in Puger Kulon and Wetan villages in Puger District, Jember Regency is Rp 67,000,000.00 per production. Other characteristics to consider are sugar content, flavour, and harvest time. The sugar content in sorghum juice can be used as a substitute for sugar and syrup in food, while the brix value is an indicator of the quality of the juice. The mutation method in plant breeding is one of the steps to produce sorghum varieties that are resistant to extreme environmental conditions. This study aimed to test the nira content in sorghum plants. The research was written using two components and factorial Randomised Group Design (RGD) with three replications, namely: The first factor was sorghum varieties Local Bandung (A0), Local Demak (A1), Local Jember (A2) while the second factor was gamma irradiation dose B0 (0 Gy), B1 (300 Gy), B2 (500 Gy) with a total of 135 plants. The results showed that the provision of some sorghum varieties and doses of gamma irradiation on the parameters of plant height, plant diameter, sucrose test analysis, fructose test analysis, glucose test analysis had a real and very real effect. The design that will be used in this study is a Non-Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 100 ppm BAP (B) which consists of 4 levels, namely B0 (0 ppm), B1 (3 ppm), B2 (6 ppm), B3 (9 ppm). The method used in the spraying process is Foam Mat Drying. The method used for optimization is the Response Surface Method (RSM) with a factorial centralized composite design 22. The factors used are the temperature of 60°C, 70°C, and 80°C and the time is 5 hours, 6 hours, 7 hours. The results showed that the composition of the formula was the best at a temperature of 79,214°C and a time of 5,007 hours. It can be predicted that the optimal formula gets a yield value of 16.109%, and a moisture content of 4.662%. The total powder obtained in 1 day of production is 5000 grams, if the production for 1 week is 35,000 grams, then 150,000 grams will be obtained for 1 month of production. Besides being able to produce in dry areas, sorghum has a higher protein content compared to corn and cracked rice, but lower than wheat. Local sorghum used in this study included local Jember, local Demak, local Nganjuk, and local Majalengka. The level of genetic diversity of sorghum in Indonesia is still relatively low. Therefore, it is necessary to test the genetic diversity of sorghum with plant breeding. To obtain genetic diversity, this research conducted identification using RAPD molecular markers with 9 primers, namely OPA- 01, OPA-02, OPA-03, OPA-04, OPA-05, OPA- 06, OPA-11, OPA 17, and OPA 18. Based on the results of RAPD, the results of DNA bands were obtained which were continued with the NTSYSpc program to produce a kinship tree between local sorghum plants. From the results of the phylogenetic tree, it is known that the local sorghum of Majalengka and Lamongan have a parallel kinship, which means that the sorghum is genetically the same. Meanwhile, the genetic diversity of local sorghum in Jember and Demak is far compared to Lamongan and Majalengka. Phytohormones can be produced endogenously by plants themselves and are not optimal. Therefore it requires exogenous phytohormones that come from outside the plant. In some cases, non-pathogenic bacteria can promote plant growth and be used in agriculture as biofertilizers. Soil rhizospheres from crops are suspected that the soil in the root area (rhizosphere) contains bacteria that stimulate plant growth. Hormones that play a role in plant growth function in division, enlargement of sprout cells, and division of cells at the root growth point. This research aims to determine bacteria that potentially produce the hormone auxin. This research identifies bacterial isolates from microscopic and macroscopic characterization. Screening isolates of auxin-producing bacteria using colorimetric methods and spectrophotometric methods. The results of characterization and screening from 5 samples showed that the bacterial samples that had the potential to produce auxin were samples isolated from eggplant soil (e) with a concentration of 6.5 ppm. The auxin produced is auxin IBA (Indole-3-butyric acid). One of the alternative plants is sorghum. Because sorghum has many benefits besides as food as well as bioenergy. That way it is necessary to make efforts to develop sorghum, one of which is by means of embryogenic callus tissue culture techniques by adding a concentration of 2,4-D. This research was conducted in the Laboratory of Nutraseutical and Pharmaseutical Division of Center for Development of Advancd Science and Technologies (CDAST) UPA Waste Management and Integrated Laboratory, University of Muhammadiyah Jember by using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a single factor namely A0 (control), A1 1 ppm, A2 2ppm, A3 3ppm, A4 4 ppm which was repeated 3 times. The variables under observation are the callus's color, texture, percentage, and time of formation. According to the study's findings, the application of 4 ppm 2,4-D produced the best results when compared to other 2,4-D treatments. The Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method is used to identify and understand customer needs and desires into relevant technical specifications for the production process. This research was conducted over three months, using primary data obtained through field observations and interviews, as well as secondary data from related literature. The research stages include identifying products and competitors, conducting product surveys to gather the voice of the customer, identifying technical parameters, analyzing the relationship between customer importance and technical parameters, and constructing the House of Quality (HoQ). The results indicate that the application of QFD can identify key areas that need improvement in the tape production process, such as raw materials, fermentation techniques, and packaging. Implementing the recommendations from the QFD results led to significant improvements in tape product quality, marked by increased customer satisfaction and reduced complaints. The relatively low price of raw oyster mushrooms means that it is not enough to support the economy of oyster mushroom farmers. Efforts to get added value from oyster mushrooms are by processing oyster mushrooms into processed products. The research aims to determine the level of financial feasibility of businesses and the added value of the oyster mushroom agro-industry in Jember Regency. The research was carried out using survey methods and in-depth interviews with oyster mushroom and industry experts as well as secondary data from literature, articles, journals and data from the Central Statistics Agency. Calculating added value using the Hayami method and calculating financial feasibility analysis of products that have high added value. The results of the added value analysis using the Hayami method show that the oyster mushroom product that has the highest added value is oyster mushroom broth amounting to IDR 172,688- (profit percentage 69.08%), oyster mushroom kebab IDR 47,751 (profit percentage 59.69%) and followed by crispy oyster mushrooms amounting to IDR 40,158 (profit percentage 57.37%) followed by oyster mushroom nuggets amounting to IDR 37,048 (profit percentage 55.57%). The financial feasibility results show that the oyster mushroom agro-industry in oyster mushroom broth products is feasible to run. Sensitivity analysis of financial feasibility with an increase in raw material prices of 10%, 20% and 30% still shows a feasible decision. In making rose tea, the drying process greatly affects the quality and chemical content of the tea. This study aims to determine the effect of temperature variation and drying time on chemical characteristics, organoleptic test, and shelf life of rose flower tea. The materials used were rose flowers, DPPH solution, ethanol, distilled water, amylum solution, ascorbic acid, gallic acid, Na2CO3 7.5%, Follin-Ciocalteu, KCL, HCL, acetic acid, sodium acetate, AlCl3, quercetin. The main tools used in this study are measuring flask, centrifuge, micro pipette, erlenmeyer, UV-VIS spectrophotometer, oven, cup, balance, vortex tube, test tube. Based on SNI dry tea in packaging 3836: 2013 polyphenol content in tea products has a minimum value of 5.2% and a maximum value of water content of 8.0%, thus the polyphenol content and water content of rose flower tea are included in the category set by SNI dry tea in packaging. The highest water content value was found in the P3 treatment of 0.940%, antioxidant content value of 39.181%, polyphenol content of 32.312 mg GAE/g, anthocyanin content value of 4.713%, vitamin C content value of 29.371%, flavonoid content value of 42.521 mg QE/g. Balung District still become the district with the highest egg production in Jember which amounted to 2,240,340/kg. Yayun Farm is one of the small-scale laying breed chicken farming businesses in Balung District which has been running for a long time and has a high commercial value, namely the large consumer demand for eggs. However, Yayun Farm still experienced several problems in developing its business. So the purpose of this study is to find out internal and external factors, alternative strategies, and strategic priorities in developing the Yayun Farm business. The results of the research in the SWOT analysis stated that the position of Yayun Farm is located in quadrant I, where the chosen strategy is the Strength/Opportunities (SO). With limited resources to implement alternative strategies simultaneously, AHP analysis is carried out to find strategic priorities from alternative strategies obtained from SWOT. The priority of the strategy selected with the highest weight is to improve and maintain product quality and quantity (0.667371852). The amount of balanced added value greatly affects the sustainability of a supply chain activity, so it is very beneficial for all actors in the coffee agro-industry supply chain. So the objectives of this research are to analyze the robusta coffee supply chain structure at PT Bondowoso Coffee Distributor, to measure the robusta coffee supply chain performance at PT Bondowoso Coffee Distributor, to analyze the added value of robusta coffee products at PT Bondowoso Coffee Distributor. This research uses the SCOR-AHP and Hayami methods for added value. The results of this research are the robusta coffee supply chain mechanism starts from farmers, collectors, PT Bondowoso Coffee Distributor and costumers. The activities that occur in PT Bondowoso Coffee Distributor are Plan, Source, Make, and Delivery. The performance analysis of PT Bondowoso Coffee Distributor amounted to 85.606 which is included in the average category. Value added of agro-industry from farmers obtained the greatest added value is ground coffee which is 82.22%, the second is roasted coffee at 66.03% and coffee beans at 42.64%. Tuna (Euthynnus affinis) belongs to the Scombridae class and is an important commodity in Indonesia. The high nutritional value of tuna fish includes a considerable amount of protein, ranging from 22.6-26.2 g/100 grams of meat. Of the various ingredients that can be added to increase the protein content of crackers, one option is to use tuna flour due to its high protein content. This study aims to identify the optimal ratio and drying period for certain chemical properties as well as considering color, aroma and taste preferences by panelists as well as the shelf life of popular tuna crackers. The parameters used in this study include moisture content, ash content, fat content, protein content which measures the nutritional value; pH which indicates the level of acidity; swelling strength as an indication of textural quality along with organoleptic tests (taste, color, aroma and overall preference) which enables sensory evaluation analysis. The results showed that crackers with the addition of tuna flour have met the quality requirements of SNI 2973-2018. This study aims to determine the driving factors and inhibitors of the sustainability of healthy rice programs in Sukorambi District, Jember Regency. This research uses the Force Field Analysis (FFA) method with a total sample of 20 healthy rice farmers from 6 farmer groups in Sukorambi District. The selection of locations in Sukorambi District with consideration to encourage farmers to apply environmentally friendly healthy rice cultivation in Sukorambi District. The results showed that: (1) Assistance by PPL obtained the highest TNB as a driving factor for the sustainability of the healthy rice program, namely 2.04% (2) The length of time required to make organic fertilizer obtained the highest TNB as an inhibiting factor. Farmers together with farmer groups need to maximize assistance by PPL and minimize the time to make organic fertilizer. This study aims to determine the comparison of whether the reduction of subsidized fertilizer policy will affect the use of fertilizers in Sukorambi Jember District. Sampling using quota sampling method as many as 40 samples, consisting of 20 farmer group members who apply healthy agriculture and 20 farmer group members who apply conventional agriculture. The results showed that the comparison of the use of organic fertilizer before and after the change in fertilizer subsidy policy increased. The use of urea and NPK fertilizers in healthy rice decreased, but the use of KCL and ZA fertilizers remained.
